Timbuktu, a Stunning World Heritage Place

Timbuktu, a stunning World heritage cultural center is a place in Mali, most known for its great mosques. It has about 32 000 inhabitants. For a long time it was a university center of all surrounding Islamic sates. There are three biggest mosques in this place, dating from 14th and 15th century, and known under the name of  Ambassadors of Peace, but the real names of those religious temples are Djingareyber, Sankore and Sidi Yahia. The place is really wonderful and if you ever decide to visit, I suggest you do that during July or late November, because during the other months the heat is unbearable.
