Sad but True
This collection of touching photographs provides a new perspective on how people who suffer from Alzheimer’s disease feel like. Photos were made by Texas photographer, Tom Hassy, working with carefully selected models. He says he wanted to make people pay attention to five million people in the USA who suffer from this disease. We would want to make people from all around the world pay attention to the people with Alzheimer’s disease. The disease in many people can cause a loss of memory, which means they will only remember the things from their youth, but no recent events, as the disease develops. Some of the symptoms are also dementia, mood swings, trouble in communication and reasoning. Take a look at the pictures, they’re sad but true.
