Another Crazy Trend in Japan
Here’s another crazy trend from Japan – women have recently started to occupy dental practices and spend hundreds of dollars to ‘incorporate’ twisted and exaggerated canines, such as those often associated with vampires. This new fashion trend is known as Yaeba, and men consider it child-like and very attractive. I don’t know about you or them, but where I come from, we all wore dental braces in order to realign teeth like these.
The procedure consists of adding permanent or semi-permanent extensions to the upper canines. In translation Yaeba means “multi-layered” or “doubled teeth” and indicates a condition in which the molar teeth compress other teeth and expel canines forward. “Installation” of such extensions costs 390$. If any girl changes her mind about this, or one day it just stops being trendy, in order to remove the upgrade on her upper canines, she would have to pay the same amount she paid for the installation in the first place.
